Ever tried to separate a Greek from their morning coffee? No, we don’t recommend it either. What better place to celebrate that unwavering Hellenic love affair with the coffee bean – and the café culture that surrounds it – than at the second Athens Coffee Festival, aimed at coffee aficionados, importers and café industry types. More than 150 coffee purveyors will present themselves, offering up tastings, educational seminars, live presentations and artistic events, including Greece’s first professional roasting competition and live daily concerts on the main stage.
Sample varieties from Latin America, Africa and Asia with different roasting profiles, attend educational seminars and presentations and talk with experienced roasters, talented baristas, specialized buyers and prestigious personalities from Greece and abroad.
Entry is €4 and the 3-day festival will run from September 30-October 2 (from 10:00-22:00 Saturday and Sunday and 12.00-22.00 on Monday).
