WHAT: Run (or walk) for a brilliant cause at one of the world’s most high-profile and successful breast cancer fundraising events – the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®.
First organized in 1983, after the promise of Nancy Brinker to her dying sister that she would do everything she could to end breast cancer forever, the Komen Race for the Cure Series has grown from one Race with 800 people in Dallas to a global series of more than 150 Races with over 1 million people participating on four continents.
This year’s Athens event is being facilitated by the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois”. The routes will be two, 5 km and 2 km respectively.

Start time for 2km Walk: 11: 20 a.m.
