WHAT: What does Athens taste like? Find out at the 2nd Athens Street Food Festival, a celebration of the city’s most popular “street delicacies” and many prized urban morsels from the kitchens of Europe, America, Asia and Africa, to be held over three long weekends in May.
Across a total downtown space area of 4000 sqm, foodies can indulge all in the one place in a global feast of street gastronomy. Look out for the specially designed “Bars and Beverages” strip and separate pop-up bars for gin, tequila, wine, cocktails, smoothies and milkshakes.
Following on from the huge success of last year’s debut event, the 2nd Athens street food festival has an extended run and promises a festive vibe with regular DJ sets from popular radio producers and live concerts performed by favorite artists. Participating restaurants include Monster Burgers, Not Just Falafel, Mac ‘N’ Cheesus; Mama Roux, Po’ Boys and Emi’s Cupcakes.
