WHAT: Another great reason to visit magnificent Delphi – the launch of a new photographic narrative about the life of Delphi residents from the late 19th century. Track the Great Excavation and transportation of the village to its current site. The exhibition zooms in on daily chores, manners and customs of a small traditional society that has evolved into one of the most visited places in Greece, on account of its world-famous archeological site and museum. You’ll also see highlights from various celebrity visits from Greece and abroad.
Photographs have come from the French School of Athens, the collection of Peter Poulidis-Archive of ERT and photographic records of Maria Chrousaki-National Gallery, the Municipal Unity Delphi European Cultural Centre of Delphi.
