WHAT: See the third chapter of an artistic tetralogy concerned with environmental nature and reflections on the allegorical nature of the “self” at this historic gallery space in Andros Chora.
The 2017 exhibition “Freedom Zone” features as a highlight an honorary mention of the pioneering contributions of the prematurely lost, outstanding sculptor George Lappas,
Like Lappas, each of the chosen painters and sculptors also distinguish themselves through their talent, expressive multi-level language and the versatile way in which they handle their materials. Their works are appropriately arranged in the exhibition spaces, with the aim of preserving the autonomy and self-identification of their style.
