The fairer sex take the spotlight for international Argentinean artist Marcelo Ricardo Zeballos in his colour-soaked and Warhol-esque new Athens exhibition “Mujeres”, fresh from its successful outing in Buenos Aires .
WHAT: Mamush Gallery in Kifissia presents the painting event “Mujeres” by the international Argentinean artist and professor Marcelo Ricardo Zeballos, for whom the fairer sex play muse – in particular, the female face in close-up.
Marcelo R. Zeballos was born in 1970 in Buenos Aires. Laying claim to over forty-four solo and group exhibitions of paintings in major museums such as Eduardo Sivori Museum and the Palais de Glace Museum as well as art galleries, Zeballos is a contemporary artist who praises his love for women through his stunning work.
Mamush Gallery houses a private collection of more than seven hundred works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Victor Vasarely, Robert Indiana, Jeff Koons, Pablo Picasso, Alexander Calder, Joan Miro, as well as by internationally established artists like Takis, Pavlos, Gaitis, Vassiliki, Takeshi Hara and others. The gallery’s director, Menia Kouli-Tzani, actively involved in the art world for sixteen years, collaborates with a passionate team of experts in order to introduce international well established, mid-career, and emerging artists in the local and global art scene.
